The Assessor’s Office discovers, lists and values all real estate, motor vehicles and personal property located within the Town of Washington and produces the Town's certified grand list. We also administers Public Act 490, tax exemptions and tax benefit programs, in accordance with Connecticut State Statutes and local ordinances. The office is overseen by the State of Connecticut Office of Policy and Management.
Please be aware: online property record data is "working" grand list year data, and is subject to change at any time. Official Town of Washington property cards and data can be obtained in the Assessor's Office, and data is based upon the prior October 1st grand list year.
Information on ownership, assessment and parcel number will be given over the phone. For specific details on a particular property, a request by mail or in person, is necessary. Street cards can not be faxed.
