The Board of Assessment Appeals reminds all property owners that anyone wishing to seek an adjustment of the assessed value of their property in Washington must file a request for a hearing, i. e., application for appeal hearing, before the Board of Assessment Appeals. An application to request a hearing can be obtained from the Tax Assessor's office in Bryan Memorial Town Hall, or may be downloaded here: BAA Application
- Completed forms with supporting documentation must be filed in-office, not post-marked, between February 1st-20th.
- After fully completed, timely filed applications are accepted by the Board, individual appointments to meet with the Board are scheduled to take place during the month of March. Residents may authorize an agent to represent them before the Board. Owner or agent must appear in person for appeal to be considered.
