Available at the Parks & Rec Office in Town Hall --Tues-Wed-Thur 12:30 to 4:30pm. Or mail in a self addressed; stamped envelope with a check (made payable to Washington Park & Rec) for $20 per car pass to:

Envelopes are available on the office door for after hours requests. Please leave them in the mail slot of the Parks & Rec office door and they will be mailed to you!!  Fireworks are held at Shepaug School, 159 South Street, Washington, CT 06793. RAIN DATE: JULY 3rd  Gates open at 3:00pm and close at 8:45 pm.  NO PETS, KEG BEER, or PERSONAL FIREWORKS!

STEPHEN REICH 5K FREEDOM RUN

the 5K run/walk race for Washington Residents and their guests, begins at the horse ring in Steep Rock.  There will be two water stations.  Trophies will be awarded.

DATE: MONDAY JULY 4th.

Same day registration at 8:30 am. Race starts at 9:00 am.

WASHINGTON TOWN BEACH

Available to all residents and taxpayers of the Town of Washington. Membership includes use of picnic area and swim area.

The Beach opens Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 28th for weekends only.

Opens for the season (7 days a week) on Tuesday, June 14th through Labor Day, September 5th.

** No lifeguards on duty Monday Aug. 29 to Friday Sept. 2**

Hours: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Fee:   $20.00 for the season

Permit available for purchase at the beach.

2016 BOAT RAMP HOURS

Spring/Fall Hours: Saturdays, Sundays, Wednesdays, Memorial Day and Columbus Day

6:00am - 11am and 4pm - sunset

Summer Hours:

Saturday June 18th to Labor Day, Monday September 5th

Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays & Mondays –6:00am – sunset

Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays -- 10:00am - 5:00pm         

$25.00 annual sticker fee.

All boats will be inspected for milfoil and subject to a $5.00 per launch inspection fee. Parking limited on a first come, first served basis. Violators will be towed.

Ramp closes for the season Sunday, Oct 30th at sunset.  Extra fee for late removal $75.00.
