A referendum is scheduled for Tuesday, December 18, 2007, in Regional School District #12's three towns regarding appropriating $1,550,000 for costs of design, construction and installation of various improvements to Shepaug Valley Middle/High School, and authorize the issue of bonds and temporary notes in the same amount to finance the appropriation. The question to be placed on the voting machines shall read as follows:

SHALL REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT NUMBER 12 APPROPRIATE $1,550,000 FOR COSTS OF DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SHEPAUG VALLEY MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZE THE ISSUE OF BONDS AND TEMPORARY NOTES IN THE SAME AMOUNT TO FINANCE THE APPROPRIATION?

Residents unable to vote at the Referendum may request Absentee Ballots from the Town Clerk's office.
