PUBLIC NOTICE
Town of Washington
Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes (CGS) § §9-253 and 9-453r, when a major or minor party is entitled to nominate two or more candidates for a particular office, the order of the names of its candidates for such office appearing on the tabulator ballot shall be determined by the Registrars of Voters by lot in a ceremony which shall be open to the public. Notice is hereby given that the Registrars of Voters for the Town of Washington have scheduled the lottery for Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the office of the Town Clerk, Bryan Memorial Town Hall. The order of candidates for the election of Board of Finance (full term) endorsed by the Republican Town Committee and the order of candidates for the election of Zoning Board of Appeals (full term) and Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate (full term) endorsed by the Democratic Town Committee will be determined at that time. A certified list is on file in the office of the Town Clerk.
