The Town of Washington, Connecticut
I have had several requests from people who want to know when certain meeting minutes are posted on the Town web site.
For example, suppose you're interested in the Inland Wetlands Commission meeting minutes. Up until now, you had to look at http://www.washingtonct.org/min-iwc.html every so often to see if any new minutes had been posted.
Now, you can sign up to be automatically notified every time the web page is updated. Go to http://www.washingtonct.org/min-iwc.html and click on the new "Notify me" button at the top of the page.
Then enter your email address and submit your request. Thereafter, every time the web page is updated, you will be notified by email.
Note that the case of the Inland Wetlands minutes is just an example. If you are interested in other boards and commissions, you will need to sign up for them too. It's an "a la carte" system.
If you go to Meeting Minutes you'll see a list of minutes that you can subscribe to. You might also be interested in Town Ordinances. You can also sign up for Public & Legal Notices, but bear in mind that that particular page is updated every couple of days. If you think it would be useful anywhere else on the web site, let me know.
