Special Town Meeting
- 1. The approval of an expenditure of $110,000.00 from the Town of Washington's Affordable Housing Fund to the Washington Community Housing Trust for pre-development costs associated with the acquisition, development and implementation of Marbledale Meadows with the following condition: that $25,000.00 be conveyed to WCHT to fund work required to complete their application to DECD and the balance of $85,000.00 be conveyed to WCHT upon their written receipt of a full funding commitment from the State of CT Department of Economic and Community Development sufficient to complete the project.
- 2. To re-schedule the Annual Town Budget Meeting for the Town of Washington from Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. per Town Ordinance.

- To transfer funds in the amount of $50,000 from the Sanitation section, and $20,000 from the Conservation of Health section to the Highways section of the 2008-2009 General Fund budget.
- To add up to $190,000 to the 2009-2010 Nonrecurring Fund for the Painter Ridge Road Reclaim and Repave Project that will be offset by a Rural Minor Connector Grant from the State of Connecticut in an equal amount.
- To add up to $99,500 to the 2009-2010 Nonrecurring Fund for the Nettleton Hollow Road Bridge Project that will be offset by a State Bridge Fund Grant in an equal amount.

Special Town Meeting
- Resolution #1: That the Town purchase 31.369+/- acres of land located at 108 New Milford Turnpike from Washington Partners, LLC as shown on maps #1667A and 1667B in the land records of the Town of Washington, for a sum not to exceed $500,000 from the Town of Washington Open Space Fund.
- Resolution #2: To nominate candidates for election to four positions on the Region #12 Board of Education, said terms to continue from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2013. And further, that all names of those nominated be considered for election by a referendum vote scheduled for May 5, 2009 held in conjunction with the vote on the proposed Region #12 2009-2010 Education Budget.

- Shall the Town of Washington present as its preference to the Region 12 Board of Education option 1) renovate the existing Washington Primary School; or option 2) construction of a new Washington Primary School; to be included in the Regions' Three Elementary School Plan.
- Move that the Board of Selectmen be authorized to inform the Region 12 Board of Education that the Town of Washington will oppose any new referendum on Primary School facilities until any and all appeals of the Superior Court decision regarding the legality of the Consolidated School option have bee resolved; so that the choice of the Consolidated option and Three School option or neither may be presented in a single referendum.

- To consider and act upon a Resolution by the Board of Selectmen to approve the filing of an application with the Commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development for a Small Cities Grant on behalf of the Washington Community Housing Trust for the purpose of renovations to infrastructure of the Dodge Farm Housing complex in an amount not to exceed $400,000; and to authorize and direct the First Selectman to file such an application, to provide such additional information, to execute such other documents as may be required by the Commissioner, to execute an Assistance Agreement with the State of Connecticut for State financial assistance if such an Agreement is offered, to execute any amendments, recessions and revisions thereto, to implement project activities, if approved, and to act as the authorized representative of the Town of Washington on behalf of the Washington Community Housing Trust.

Special Town Meeting:
- To consider and act upon a proposal to enter into an "Inter-municipal Agreement" with the towns of Bridgewater and Roxbury, as amended and approved by the Board of Selectmen on November 9,2005, to establish an Elementary School Steering Committee to evaluate the feasibility of constructing and/or renovating elementary school properties in each town and alternatives thereto.
