Welcome to Washington's Shepaug Greenway, a 3.3 mile foot travel trail connecting Steep Rock Reservation and Hidden Valley Preserve.

Hikers are advised to follow the Shepaug Greenway logos, arrows and trailhead guides that are present throughout the trail.

Bicycles and motorized vehicles are not allowed. Pets are welcome providing that they are on a leash. Enjoy at your own risk.

Approximate walking time for the complete distance is one and one half hours.

 

The Shepaug Greenway is sponsored by the Conservation Commission. It was funded by the Town in fiscal year 2000-2001 for an expenditure of $16,485. It opened to the public in the Spring of 2001.
