The Region 5 REPT is comprised of the 43 Chief Executive Officers of the towns and cities of DEMHS Region 5. (See Administration – Municipal Profiles for a list of member municipalities).

The mission of the REPT is to enhance the capability of member municipalities to respond to disasters and emergencies and provide timely and effective mutual aid when needed.  The REPT determines the most efficient and effective use of federal Homeland Security Grant funds with regards to equipment procurement, planning and training.

The REPT is supported by a Steering Committee comprised of local emergency management directors, emergency service chiefs and public health officials, and by many discipline-specific working groups (see Emergency Support Functions and Committees).

The Northwest Hills Council of Governments (NHCOG) is the fiduciary agent for the Region 5 REPT. NHCOG administers federal Homeland Security Grant funds  under the direction of the Region 5 REPT. Federal Homeland Security grant funds are awarded annually through the State Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection.

The purpose of this website is to assist the REPT and its subgroups in sharing documents and other information relevant to current, past and future emergency preparedness activities in Region 5.  ESF and Committee Chairmen are encouraged to use this site for that purpose.

Please contact us with ideas you may have regarding website content and organization. Thank you for visiting the Region 5 REPT website.
